County Lineage Society Membership
Preserve your family history by joining one of our lineage programs: Pioneers or Homesteaders. If you have a direct ancestor(s) who settled in DeKalb County sometime before 1890, then you qualify for one or more of our programs. To qualify as a Pioneer, your direct ancestor must have settled in DeKalb County by December 31, 1850. To qualify as a Homesteader your direct ancestor must have settled in DeKalb County by December 31, 1890. Find instructions for applying on the application.
If you have a Pioneer Ancestor in a county in Indiana, you may also apply to become a member of the Society of Indiana Pioneers. Find more information about this at their website: indianapioneers.org
