The Life Redeemed Apostolic building was originally the St. Mark Lutheran Church, but when they closed their doors in 2020, Life Redeemed reopened them.
The original St. Mark Lutheran Church was built in 1866 and most of the stained glass windows are original to that first building. They were gifts from the Order of Railroad Conductors, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, local fraternal groups, the Dorcas Society, and as memorials to loved ones. When that 1866 building was torn down and replaced in 1901, many of the bricks and windows were saved.
